THE STEP AFTER WASHING

Yout RV can look clean and still be covered in bonded grime.

Your RV collects thousands of miles of bugs, road film, sap and surface contamination.

Some of it bonds to the finish instead of washing away.
Washing removes loose dirt. It doesn’t always remove what’s stuck to the surface.

Road grime and contamination can bond to smooth exterior surfaces instead of simply washing away leaving the surface feeling rough and looking dull even after a proper wash.

The Reset Clay Towel is the simple decontamination step that comes next.

Wash → Lubricate → Reset → Feel the difference.

  • Tree Sap

Cuts through sap that stays stuck after washing.

  • Bug Build Up

Lifts stubborn bug residue from front caps and leading edges.

  • Road Film

Removes the grime that builds up mile after mile.

  • Tar Spots

Targets bonded tar and stubborn grime around lower panels.

  • Salt Build Up

Clears the residue left behind by coastal air and winter roads.

    • Step 1 | Wash

Wash the surface, removing loose dirt and debris as your normally would.

    • Step 2 | Lubricate

Spray lubricant or soapy water to keep the panel wet and slick.

    • Step 3 | Glide

Move the Reset Clay Towell lightly across the surface. No aggressive scrubbing.

    • Step 4 | Feel

Wipe dry and enjoy a smoother finish. Run your hand back over the panel

      • Front Cap

Bugs, road film & bonded contamination.

      • Side Panels

Big smooth surfaces. Much faster than working with a tiny clay bar.

      • Lower Panels

Tar spots, road residue & travel grime.

        Before You Reset

        Know Your Surface.
Reset is designed for suitable smooth painted and gelcoat-style finishes. Always test first and avoid decals, textured plastics, rubber roofing and damaged surfaces.
Wash first • Lubricate generously • Use light pressure

            Frequently Asked Questions

            check_box

What does the Reset Clay Towel actually remove?

The Reset Clay Towel is designed to lift bonded contamination that normal washing can leave behind, including stubborn road grime, bug residue, light tree sap, tar spots and salt film. It helps leave the surface feeling noticeably smoother after washing.

            check_box

How is this different from a normal microfiber towel?

A normal microfiber towel is great for washing and drying. The Reset Clay Towel has a special honeycomb clay surface on the underside that helps lift harder to remove residue that has bonded to the surface rather than simply sitting on top of it.

            check_box

            How do I use it?

Wash the surface first, then keep it wet and well lubricated. Place the honeycomb side against the surface and gently glide the towel across the area without heavy pressure. Rinse the towel regularly as you work.

            check_box

Can I use it on RVs, Caravans, cars and boats?

Yes. The Reset Clay Towel is designed as a versatile decontamination tool for painted automotive surfaces, boat surfaces and caravan or RV exteriors. Always test a small inconspicuous area first if you are unsure about a particular finish.

            check_box

Do I need to scrub hard with The Reset Clay Towel?

No. In fact, you shouldn’t. The Reset Clay Towel is designed to do the work with light pressure and plenty of lubrication. If an area needs aggressive scrubbing, stop and reassess rather than forcing it.

            check_box

            Is it reusable?

Yes. Unlike a traditional clay bar that last 2-3 washes, The Reset Clay Towel can be rinsed thoroughly and reused over and over again. After use, rinse away any contamination and allow it to air dry before storing.

            check_box

How is it different from a clay bar?

A traditional clay bar needs to be kneaded, reshaped and replaced if dropped. The Reset Clay Towel gives you the same type of bonded contamination removal in a larger, reusable format that is easier to hold and faster to work across bigger surfaces. Keep the surface lubricated, glide the honeycomb side over the surface, rinse it clean and keep going.
